Frequently Asked Questions
Will our group all be in the same helicopter?
Each helicopter holds up to 6 people and a collective 1200lbs. In order to comply with FAA regulations and ensure a safe flight, seating is based on the balance and weight distribution in the helicopter. The only way to guarantee your party is on the same aircraft is to book a private tour, and for everyone onboard to weigh a combined 1200lbs or less in full gear.
What if I need extra help on the tour?
This tour generally requires a mild level of fitness in order to load/unload the helicopter and navigate on icy/uneven terrain. However, the tour can accommodate guests that require extra assistance or have limited mobility. Please let us know in advance if you or your party needs additional assistance or mobility accommodations.
Can children come on the tour?
What if our cruise ship's schedule is canceled or delayed?
What happens if the weather is bad?
Weather cancellations are at the discretion of the expert pilots and their experienced teams. If the weather is just not cooperating and the pilots determine that it’s not safe to fly, we’ll contact you as soon as possible and do our best to reschedule. If you choose not to reschedule or we can’t find a time that works for you, you'll be refunded less any applicable fees.
How many passengers per helicopter?
Each helicopter can seat up to 6 passengers, provided the collective weight of all passengers is 1200lbs or less.
What if my tour group is larger than 6 people?
Is transportation included?
Yes! Round-trip transportation is included, but the included transportation is not guaranteed to be private. If you would like private van transport for your group, you may add it to your reservation during the checkout process for an additional fee.
